WHAT TECHNOLOGY DO I REQUIRE FOR AN ONLINE CONSULTATION?
All Halaxy consultations are directly linked with Coviu. Prior to your consultation, you will receive a unique Coviu session link which protects security and patient confidentiality.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DIETITIAN AND A NUTRITIONIST?
A Nutritionist may be a qualified nutrition professional that has the expertise to provide a range of evidence based nutrition services related to nutrition, public health nutrition, policy and research, and community health.

A Dietitian, is also a Nutritionist, however has been trained to provide individual dietary counselling, medical nutrition therapy, group dietary therapy and food service management. Accredited Practising Dietitians are recognised by Medicare, the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and many Private Health Funds.
WILL MY PRIVATEÂ HEALTH INSURANCE COVER MY CONSULTATION?
As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, I am recognised under Medicare with a provider number. Depending on your levels of 'extras' cover, you should be able to claim a portion of all consultations from any Australian Private Health Fund.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES THE DERMAL DIETITIAN TAKE?
All payments are made online through my Practice Management Software, Cliniko.
